ATWATER KENT TUBE RADIO & POWER SUPPLY FOR SALE. MODEL 40 — “BREADBOX”. OUR TECH WENT OVER THIS RADIO CAREFULLY. HE UPGRADED THE TUBES SO THAT THEY ARE ALL STRONG. HE ADDED TWO NEW CAPS IN THE POWER SUPPLY. HE CHECKED ALL THE WIRES AND MADE SURE THAT THIS RADIO WAS IN TOP CONDITION. NOW YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE FUN. JUST USE A 1000 OHM MAGNET SPEAKER (there is no speaker included with this radio) , ADD A BIT MORE AERIAL, AND YOU ARE READY TO GO. THE RADIO HAS GOOD VOLUME, GOOD TUNING, AND YOU WILL FIND LOTS OF STATIONS ON THE DIAL. WHO KNOWS — YOU MIGHT EVEN RUN ACROSS GLENN MILLER OR FIBBER McGEE & MOLLY. CONDITION: GOOD WORKING RADIO. GLORITONE CATHEDRAL RADIO FOR SALE. GLORITONE model 99A RADIO. TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING WELL. RADIO HAS A GOOD SOLID SHELL WITH MODERATE WEAR. PLEASE NOTE THE LAST TWO GALLERY PHOTOS THAT SHOW A LITTLE SHELL ROUGHNESS ALONG THE BOTTOM LEFT EDGE AND THE FRONT RIGHT LEG. KNOBS AND FACEPLATE ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. Telefunken vintage sound system 1953 ELA V300 tube radio control speaker. Here i offer a very rare complete sound system, made by Telefunken in 1953. It was made for schools , a microphone was fitted (not included) and the speach was transmitted in all classrooms. Also a FM radio was included and a control speaker. The system was removed last week from school in Düsseldorf , from the caretaker room (smells like cigarettes, as the people smoked the whole day in the 1950ies). Not tested as the system wasn´t used the last 35 years. Solt as is, for restoring projects only. The metal case isaround 75 x 72 x 44 cm and the weight is around 53 kg!! The tube amplifier is type ELA V300 and uses a pair EL12 spezial in PP mode in the output section. All tubes are original TELEFUNKEN. The complete set is untouched condition, nothing was replaced in the past! Hard to find in such a condition! Mid-Century Modern PHILCO RADIO. TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING GREAT. HERE IS A REAL RADIO POWERHOUSE. GREAT SOUND / LOTS OF VOLUME / AND AN ABILITY TO PULL IN STATIONS FROM FAR AWAY. TONIGHT AS I WAS LISTENING HERE IN PITTSBURGH, I HEARD WCBS IN NEW YORK LIKE IT WAS DOWN THE STREET. I ALSO GOT STATIONS FROM PHILLY & BOSTON. THE DIAL WAS LOADED WITH SIGNALS. THIS IS ALSO A FULL RANGE FM RADIO WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR 1948. THE SIGNAL WAS NOT AS STRONG…. BUT I WAS ONLY USING THE COPPER ANTENNA INSIDE THE RADIO. THE FM WILL PROBABLY REQUIRE SOME ADDITIONAL AERIAL WIRE. APPROX SIZE: 19 x 11 x 12 HIGH. CONDITION: TESTED / WORKING. FM WILL NEED AN ADDITIONAL AERIAL. ELECTRONICALLY THIS RADIO IS IN TOP CONDITION. THE WOOD FINISH IS PRETTY GOOD. THERE IS A WEAR SPOT ON THE TOP LEFT SIDE. THERE IS SOME CRAZING OF THE FINISH ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT ROUNDED SHOULDERS. PHILCO FLATTOP TABLE MODEL RADIO FOR SALE. PHILCO model 38-2670 RADIO. THIS RADIO IS JUST OUT OF THE SHOP WHERE IT HAS BEEN REBUILT WITH 90% NEW CAPACITORS. HOWEVER, IF YOU LOOK AT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CHASSIS… IT WILL LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINAL CAPS. THAT’S BECAUSE OUR GENIUS TECH REPACKED THE OLD CAPS TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL LOOK. OUR GUY ALSO CLEANED ALL THE KNOB SHAFTS FOR SMOOTH DIALING ACTION. TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING WELL. RADIO HAS A GOOD SOLID SHELL WITH MODERATE WEAR. KNOBS AND FACEPLATE ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. RADIO PUTS OUT A GOOD, CLEAR SOUND. IN FACT THE SOUND IS VERY GOOD IN THE BASS RANGE. IT PRODUCES A NICE WARM TUBE SOUND. THERE ARE FIVE BANDS LISTED ON THE DIAL GRAPHIC BUT SOME OF THE BANDS ARE NO LONGER USED BY BROADCASTERS. — just don’t forget to use lots of antenna wire. The more the wire, the better the signal. CONDITION: TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING WELL. 90% REBUILD ON THE CAPACITORS OUR GUY ONLY LEFT TWO THAT TESTED “EXCELLENT” AND ARE DARN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AT. MODERATE WEAR ON THE SURFACE. ONE SMALL FLAW IS THE GRILL CLOTH HAS A STAIN ON THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN SOME OF THE GALLERY PHOTOS. ALL PICTURES IN THE GALLERY SHOTS TAKEN DIRECTLY OF THE OBJECT FOR SALE. HERE IS A REAL RADIO POWERHOUSE. GREAT SOUND / LOTS OF VOLUME / AND AN ABILITY TO PULL IN STATIONS FROM FAR AWAY. TONIGHT AS I WAS LISTENING HERE IN PITTSBURGH, I HEARD NEW YORK, ST. THE LAST TWO GALLERY PHOTOS SHOW A LITTLE VENEER CHIP THAT FELL OFF AND WAS REGLUED. ALSO THERE IS A LITTLE ROUGHNESS ALONG THE UPPER RIGHT TOP EDGE — AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE GALLERY PHOTOS. THE RIGHT SIDE SHOWS SOME LITE FINISH FLAWS. AND THE TOP OF THE RADIO ALSO SHOWS SOME FINISH WEAR. HOWEVER, OVERALL THE CONDITION OF THE RADIO IS STILL VERY ATTRACTIVE AND SHOWS MODERATE WEAR FOR A RADIO OF ITS AGE. No reserve, Great Find! We specialize in 16 & 35mm equipment & film. SOUND QUALITY AND VOLUME ARE MORE THAN ADEQUATE. ONE ODD KNOB DIVIDES THE SIGNAL BANDS INTO UPPER AND LOWER…. WHICH MEANS THAT YOU HAVE TO FLIP THE SWITCH TO GET THE LOWER FREQUENCY SIGNAL. CABINET IS IN OUTSIDING CONDITION. APPROX SIZE: 18″ HIGH 16″ WIDE 12 DEEP. CONDITION: ONE OF THE NICEST CATHEDRAL RADIOS WE’VE HAD. WOOD HAS A BEAUTIFUL FINISH. Excellent looking and sounding. Gloss finish on the wood case. Only imperfections are some light scratches on the front clear plastic face. I’m tempted to keep this one. Measures 11 x 7 x 5 1/2 inches. See photo’s for condition. In most cases we do not know the history or have not used the item personally.
