The speaker shows color on the front. Chip on the top less than 1/4 and a chip on the left side end, good plug need a backing on the back, got a clear channel and more. May have some light blemishes in the bakelike finish, Light scratches on the right side. The cloth shows the speaker and may have some stains. 11″ long 6 1/4″ deep and 6 3/4 tall. This is a very tiny CRT TV. It’s kind of a novelty, as it is (fairly) modern, but is black and white, and obviously you can see through it. Pretty cool to see the inner workings. My thought is that the design might have originally been used in prisons, but then was later adapted for consumer use, but that is just a guess. It has a composite input, which is nice for connecting old game systems VCRs, etc. You would need a converter to watch any over the air TV stations. The chassis has not been worked on and is untested – cord a little frayed and I didn’t want to chance it. The back lid is warped some, a long deep scrath or cracking in the paint on the top. Scattered scratches and some paint loss , the front looks dull and has color changes in it. Missing one rubber foot on the bottom. Isnt marked but has a paper inside that said 1924 Crosly Model 51, doesnt match up exactly but similar to it. This one has a screened opening in the front. The 1914 Crosly 51S has the same style cabinet. But knobs are placed different. The cabinet measures 11″ long by 8″ tall and 7 3/4 deep. Personal catalog number 546. Up for offer Vintage 1930s small RCA cathedral tube radio. I could not pull the chassis because the dial knob is stuck I did not what to force it off. The radio works it came from a lot that a radio and TV repairman had in his collection judging from the condition and the way it plays a believe it was restored but the chassis is stuck in the radio I can verify that it is restored. The cabinet is in great condition just a few small chips and a small crack in the veneer on the side. The radio has two globe tubes 42 Cunningham and a 280 Radiotron. The antenna is very touchy you have to move the connection to get a good signal. Measurements 9 1/2″ wide 6 1/2″ deep 11 1/2 high Thanks for looking! Dirty cord, good shape, chip in the veneer lack left, wear to the back edges, some scratches and paint loss. Lots of pictures to look at for exact condition of radio.
