This is a Stromberg-Carlson AWP-8 tube shortwave radio. Radio is not tested but in decent physical condition as pictured. The radio does not have the key to the front, but you can open it by unscrewing the latch from the box. Appears complete but I’m not an expert on this. Zenith 7G605 sailboat vintage shortwave radio, restored condition. Like a Bomber

This is a restored rare Zenith Sailboat radio, Serial #: T847962. Radio works on all bands, and all Electrolytics have been replaced, also the rectifier tube 117Z6, has been replaced with a solid state system, the tube was left in place but is not in the circuit now. All capacitors needing replacing were replaced, (almost all needed replaced) lots or rewiring old frayed wires also were replaced. The band switch was cleaned and works great now. A very nice working radio. The Zenith serial number list shows three blocks for the 7G605 (chassis 7B04). Code T (pale blue serial number tag). This radio is 951 manufactured, in the first run, at that time they were using the sailboat speaker grill covers, but soon after this radio they started installing the bomber grill as we were entering WWII. The 7G605s, were only made for a few months as Zenith stopped producing radios for the public and went into work for the government until after the war. The sailboat is the first version. INCREDIBLE VTG (1922) Colin B. Kennedy Type 281 Shortwave Receiver

Kennedy Type 281 Shortwave Tube Radio Receiver! The previous owner said that this receiver worked great! I have not tested the tube either. This is a VERY NICE example of this vintage receiver as you can see from the many pictures. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. The Bakelite panel looks awesome no chips, scratches, etc. The surface is still super reflective and the white engraving is still prominent everywhere, with very little wear. All of the dials, switches and knobs appear to be in excellent working condition. The interior/chassis looks great and I believe that it is 100% original. The cabinet is nice and solid and the original finish looks great consistent with age and authenticity with very few scratches, etc. The lid sits flat on the cabinet and the brass nameplate looks nice. The serial # of this piece is 22290. If you’d like to discuss this vintage piece further, please feel free to give me a call at 317.340.6170. I apologize for the glare, from the sun, on some of the pictures. It was a beautiful day outside! I removed the front panel and took pictures of all of the interior components.
