The bottom has a spot in the wood that has damage. Tickler controls level of Reg. Top L, a control for Rheostat that controls voltage and current for the tube. I found this information on Google. The radio takes a WD11 tube and is missing.
All electrolytic capacitors were replaced as well as resistors that were not in specs. All tubes were tested, weak tubes were replaced, including the “Magic Eye” tube used for tuning. This radio has two internal antennas that give a great FM reception. For short wave stations an external antenna, not provided, is needed. This radio, as most German radios of this vintage, has a great sound and workmanship. Radio dimensions: 20x8x12.5 inches. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This classic piece of equipment from the EMUD brand offers a glimpse into the past with its retro design and functionality. Despite being a vintage piece, this radio still works, making it a valuable addition to any collection or for those looking to experience the nostalgia of tube radios from the mid-20th century. You can see that some of the brass colored trim is discolored. The finish has some cracks in it. Back corner has a crack and is pictured. It does not come with a cord, as you can see the area that the cord plugs into is damaged. Other than the power cord area, everything seems to be in good condition on the inside.
It is a Mid-Century Modern radio that is in working condition. The brand is EMUD and it was manufactured in Germany. Very nice condition normal age wear no back board inside a little dusty. Perfect working radio would add vintage charm to any room. Be sure to check out our other vintage items.
This is a beautiful Vintage EMUD tabletop radio. Overall, I would say the condition is excellent for it’s age. I was not able to test the radio as the power cord is damaged. It has inputs for a phono or tape player. The buttons and knobs all work, except when one of the selector buttons is in the down position and you press the ON/OFF button the down position button does not pop up. I pressed gently on one of the other buttons and the down button popped up. Manufactured in West Germany.
Here we have a really nice Emud. I would find it hard to believe you can find one in better condition. Was overhauled in January. All works and sounds great. Even tells you about the tubes in it. These aren’t really my thing but it was so cool I bought it. Especially when I found out it was recently tuned up. Time for a new toy so here we are.

All piano style push buttons in excellent condition. Wood case is nice but for some age related finish spots and a minor rub on back corner as shown. Sounds and looks very nice. Will be carefully packaged for safe arrival.

There is two antennas coming out the back, but I hooked another antenna to that an old-school antenna for old tube radios and I was listening to people all over the world. Lol of course I could not understand most of it, but it was still very enjoyable. This EMUD radio is 20 inches long 12.5 inches high and 8 inches deep/wide.
