Sears Silvertone 7251 Vacuum Tube Radio. This is the more rare 1939 version of the cabinet with the “X” design in the cabinet around the speaker. This radio and parts were available exclusively through the 1939 Sears Roebuck Catalog and in Sears retail stores. A stylish Art Deco wood cabinet with rounded corners. (cabinet dimensions are 14″W x 8 1/2″H x 8″D), 4 “favorite station push buttons (the 5th is to enable dial tuning using the right hand knob), a reverse-order gold and brown dial that descends in frequency from left to right, and an internal loop antenna.
