German tube radio, built 1955/56. The radio was restored. Tubes were checked and replaced. All critical capacitors, defective resistors and the most of the elkos were replaced. The chassis was cleaned, all individual parts were cleaned, the wooden cabinet was cleaned and polished, all mechanical parts were reoiled, all contacts were refreshed, the UKW wire was replaced, technically checked, etc. SABA Schwarzwald Automatic 6-3D tube radio model from 1955/56. The engine of the automatic works well. The 8 tubes and the original speakers are in perfect working condition. The magic eye is new. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 220V. It´s ready to plug in. It is possible to connect external players like mp3 and other. Original varnish (not revarnished). The wood and varnishing is in a good condition for his age, some scratches here and there. Only on the one side, on the left the varnish was peeling, so it was painted on the spots. It is cleaned and polished. Principle: Superhet general, ZF/IF 472/6750 kHz. Wave Range: Long wave, medium wave, short wave and FM. Dimension: 630 x 401 x 285 mm / 24.8 x 15.8 x 11.2 inch. Net weight: 14.5 kg / 31 lb 15 oz. Original price: 469.00 DM.
