Vintage Philips Stereo tube amplifier, old school 1958. Still factory original, play’s! Please look to all 19 pictures! The AG9014 is a 2 x 15 Watt Philips stereo amplifier from 1958. The amplifier has balanced amplifiers directly without interposition of a transformer, with 800 ohm speakers. Still in his almost 60 years old original factory condition. I did NOT replaced one component. Still play’s very well with a lot of volume and basses. However I suggest you must check out the capasitors when you want to let it play for a long time! On the front panel are four knobs arranged for Treble, Bass, Volume and Balance. Furthermore, an On / Off slide switch, push buttons for Tuner, Tape and PU selection, Stereo / Mono button, a yellow and a green light Distortion Mains lamp. The distortion indicator lights when the amplifier output is almost to the point of distorting. Also the cabinet is still in his original condition from 1958! Works on 110 till 240 volts. Commes with the two speaker cables with the odd philips 800 ohm speaker connectors. Vintage Philips Stereo tube amplifier, old school 1961. Perfect working condition, sweet tube sound. Please look to all 21 pictures! This type # AG9015 was build in the early sixties and is in perfect working condition. The previous owner changed proffesionally the weird Philips connection input plugs to the normal cinch connectors. I checked out this amp , all signal capacitors are the famous beige Philips (Mullard) cap’s the ones who never leak! This amp is still factory original , no cap’s are replaced (except for the cinch connectors on the back). Very nice and well build amplifier! From the era when amp’s where still handbuilded. All potmeters and switches are cleaned to run this amp perfect and smootly. All tubes are also tested. The outputpower will be about 15watt per channel. The 11 tubes are : GZ 34 / EF 86 / EF 86 / ECC 83 / ECC 83 / ECC 83 / ECC 83 / EL 86 / EL 86 / EL 86 / EL 86. It’s a multi voltage unit works from 90…. 110 volts till 245 volts. You have connection on the back for : Phono “Crystal” , Phono “Dynamic” , Tape recorder , Tuner = Aux , Regular Speakers 8 till 16 ohms, and 800 Ohms speakers. Commes with a copy of the service manual and schematic’s, speaker connection cables and DIN versus cinch cable. Please note that all the wooden cabinets of my radio’s are still in the original finish from the’50′s or’60′s. The are NOT re-sprayed or re-laquered!
