SABA Freiburg Automatic 100 Stereo. Very Powerful & Amazing!! This splendid tube radio was serviced and restored. All tubes were checked and defective replaced. Dial bulbs, defective capacitors, elkos and defective resistors were replaced. All engine capacitors were replaced. The engine and all mechanical, moving parts were re-oiled. It was all adjusted. Contacts were refreshed, it was cleaned and polished, technically checked, and much more. The Automatic works great and fast. SABA Freiburg Automatic 100 Stereo tube radio model from 1959/61. The 13 tubes and the 5x original speakers are in perfect working condition. Tubes: EC92, EC92, ECH81, EF89, EM84, EBF89, EF86, EF86, EBC91, EABC80, ECL80, EL84, EL84. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 220V. It´s ready to plug in. It is possible to connect external speakers and players like mp3 and other. Original varnish (not revarnished). The wood and varnishing is in a good condition for its age with any very small dents and scratches. It is cleaned and polished. The automatic works great. The fine-tuning works great too. German tube radio, built 1957/58 by the famous SABA company, Villingen, black forest. Restored completely, working perfect! Typical design of the 1950ies. This radio has been restored electrically and optically. In that period I got a lot of experience with these radios. THIS RADIO IS WORKING PERFECT, GREAT SOUND AND RECEIPT! Very few signs of age and use! Please have a look at the fotos, it looks great, and will be of course an eyecatcher in your living room. Little aged but very good! The dial glass is very good! This radio has 2 full band speakers (greencones) in front and 2 tweeters to the left and right for full 3D sound. The chassis has been restored electrically. The tubes are new or used in mint condition. Magic eye EM84 is NEW. All bad capacitors are changed , the mechanic is working perfect. The switches are in good working condition. All knobs and keys are original. The chassis itself is cleaned and in original excellent condition. Are all in excellent working condition. There are following tubes inside. EC92 , EC92 , ECH81 , EBF89 , EABC80 , EL84 , EM84. The filters were adjusted using a Grundig AS5 test transmitter. Fantastic sound, a lot of bass and clear highs! Perfect receipt on FM. The radio is factory prepaired to work on 220-240 VAC. As well as on 110-120V AC. I will prepare the radio to work in the country you live! The sound is nice, warm sound. The radio came from Germany and has a European style plug, but there is also an adapter which I use to plug into sockets we use here in the U. Note in the last photo : one of the piano style keys popped off recently. Radio still works and I have the key, as you can see in the last photo. Get some static when tuning from one station to the next. I listen to a classical music station in my area and the sound is very nice.
