Little marks on the top of the cabinet which would be expected from a piece form the 60′s. Cats eye works well. Could use a new radio antenna but still gets stations.

The Vintage German Saba 90/11K Export Model for US market. Tube Radio is from the mid-1950s. Made in Germany by the renowned brand Saba, this tube radio was specifically designed for the US market. With its classic design and historical significance, Perfect for collectors of tube radios or those interested in the history of radio technology. Radio is – as found working condition. Going by the fairly bright tuner eye, It looks like a low hour radio. It is recommended that this radio be electorally restored for long time use. A vintage (circa 1960s) tube radio marked as a SABA 90/11K! The radio does power on and I get some stations to come in, but it’s 60 years old and could need some servicing to get up to par! The light behind the dials was flickering at points. The volume knob is difficult to turn, it’s rather tight. There are scuffs, scratches, stains, and color loss spots scattered about. Tube chassis needs a deep cleaning. Will come as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: This radio measures approximately 17 1/4″ wide, 9″ front-to-back, and 10 7/8 tall. Vintage SABA Villingen 300 Automatic Stereo 11 Tube Radio West German MCM. This stereo is from 1961/62 and for its age is in great cosmetic condition with the exception of some surface scratches and spots on the top. It seems to work as far as the sound and lights go but I can’t seem to figure out how to change the station. Also, the buttons have some issues with staying in place when you press them down and the automatic tuner doesn’t function properly from what I can tell. With all of that being said, the stereo may need some work to get it functioning the way it was intended to. See pictures and video for details.
