As you can see in the photographs, this radio is in near mint, original condition. The cabinet is in excellent shape & the original finish looks great. The Bakelite panel looks good too no chips, gouges, etc. Dials and knobs are original/correct. The components inside are super clean. I do not have the proper equipment to test this piece. Westinghouse Vintage Radiola RS Regenerative Receiver with an Audio Output Stage
westinghouse
Comments Off
The vintage, 1923 era, Westinghouse Radiola RS Receiver is a two tube, regenerative receiver with a single audio amplification stage. This unit has a wood panel and was probably around during the earliest days of radio. Physically, the unit appears to be in very good condition, considering its age — circa 1923. Case has some marks, and two small rubber feet are missing. Please study pictures carefully. Tube 2 appears to be original, while tube 1 appears to have been replaced with a more modern replacement. Does it include the requisite batteries. A Google search provides considerable information about the Radiola RS. – including information on reasonably priced replacement tubes. Thank you for supporting the. In summary, this Radiola RS is an excellent target for an early radio restoration project, and it will make a great addition to the anyones historic radio collection! Vintage Grebe Radio CR9 CR-9 regenerative receiver 1920s

Vintage Grebe Radio CR9. Dirty and needs a good cleaning. See pics – the case has some slight dings and a flaked spot on the top. None of the tubes are loose in their bases. There may be some items that are missing pieces or have been restored / modified such that an expert would notice it, but it escapes my scrutiny based on my limited knowledge. These came from my Dad, a long-time train collector, vintage radio collector, and amateur radio operator (since the 1950s). If I mis-describe anything, please bear with me and let me know. Most of the older items were displayed or operated around the house when I was growing up. I do not use stock photos, I use pics of the actual item(s) – what you see in the pics is exactly the item(s) you get. If there is a problem with an item, send me a message. I stand behind what I sell. The item “Vintage Grebe Radio CR9 CR-9 regenerative receiver 1920s” is in sale since Sunday, March 13, 2016.
