With proven quality of ORIENT100 VINTAGE TUBE EF9 TUBE SHORTWAVE REGEN RADIO CRYSTAL CLEAR. Here’s a very nice one tube, handcrafted, vintage style, high-performance shortwave regenerative radio. This radio utilizes a LM386 AF amplifier with 0.5 watts output so you don’t need to use headphones. Also it has a RF amplifier stage which offers a great reception sensitivity. This is a very special radio which uses a real vintage tube EF9 pentode. This great looking, high quality vintage style radio is designed to be just like homebrew radios that were built in the 1930s and 1950s by radio hobbyists in the great vacuum tube era. You will get a very good performance within it’s frequency coverage. This radio runs on 6 volts DC, you can use a DC power supply or an adapter. Volume is very good and lots of stations can be picked up even with a short antenna min. 5 meters Specs: Radio runs on 6 Volts DC (power supply not included). One 1R5 tube as regenerative detector. One 2N2907 RF transistor as high gain RF amplifier. Main Tune MVAM108 varactor diode. Built in 8 ohms, 0.5 watts speaker. Extremely stable, not sensitive to hand capacitance. WORKING CROSLEY PUP RADIO. WITH ORIGINAL BOX (NOT A REPRO–IT’S ORIGINAL). RETURN IF NOT AS ADVERTISED. THIS ONE GOES WAY, WAY BACK. OVERALL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. NO MYSTERY HOLES, WIRES, PARTS, ETC. I FOUND ONE VERY MINOR DING ON IT. IT’S ALONG THE TOP EDGE IN THE FIRST PHOTO. YOU NEED TO LOOK CLOSELY TO SEE IT IN THE PHOTO. CERTAINLY NOT A BIG ISSUE–BUT YOU DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. AND AS MENTIONED, THIS ONE WORKS! TOOK PIX OF ALL SIDES. THE LABEL ON THE BOTTOM IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION AND HAS NOT PEELED OFF AS MANY DO. THE BOX–AS YOU CAN SEE–HAS SOME STAINING ON IT AND SOME WATERMARKS. SOMEONE ALSO WROTE “RADIO” ON ONE OF THE FLAPS. THAT SAID, SURPRISINGLY THE BOX IS VERY SOUND AND USABLE. PLEASE NOTE: WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. CHECK THE VARIOUS FORUMS BUT YOU WILL NEED A UX 201A OR EQUIVALENT. NOT MUCH MORE NEED BE SAID. WILL OBVIOUSLY PACK THE BOX IN A BOX AND WILL PAD WELL.
