Vintage Silvertone 7057 Music Center, dual tonearms, from my limited research it would appear that this is a recorder on to 78rpm, includes original microphone, appears all complete and original, see video. Probably belongs in a audio museum, heavy piece, no original box, no manual, just downloaded the schematics from Radio Museum, will wrap securely for safe transit. PRO WRAPPED FOR SAFE TRANSIT. Silvertone Model 70 Wire Recorder Works w/ Mic Four Rolls Wire Music. Unit powers on plays the recorded wire. There is wow & flutter the speed is off but I can hear the recordings. At least two of the recordings are of a party sounds like a record hop. One is either an employer or police questioning a woman about another employee stealing. One reel has a cracked hub. We tested the mic thru our mixer it was clear but at x it cut out that may have been the mixer input or the mic. We did not record onto the wire or connect any device to the unit. It is missing two feet. Two or three of the wires are missing their plastic leaders if they are found we will include them. This is an all original one owner unit. It requires maintenance possibly new or replacement parts. Grill cover is badlky worn. We have not removed the covers nothing internally has been inspected. Here is a very nice Vintage Tube Type Meissner Model 9-1065 Radio Phono Recorder Record Cutter Lathe in Fair Condition. Comes with the microphone, 3 new audiodiscs, and instruction manual with schematics. Powers on and tuner light comes on and I was able to tune in radio stations without an antenna but there is a hum, much like many old tube radios that have not been played in years. Tone knob and tuning knob and dial and light are working. Has 2 volume knobs and 2 microphone jacks, and a gain switch (normal and high) which all also seem to work. The main center knob has settings for: radio only, phono playback, record mike, record radio, and public address, these all seem to work also. There is a turntable on/off switch which works and I can hear the turntable motor running but the turntable did not spin on its own. The turntable spins very freely, when you give it a spin with your finger, it almost never stops, there is also a switch for 33 and 78 records which also seems to work as I can hear the difference in the turntable motor. There is a short black jack that plugs in the front by the handle, I think it is for a different sound or microphone feed but not positive. Stylus on the playback arm seems ok and needle on the cutter arm seems ok, there are no extra needles. Tweed on the case is fairly tattered, but case and latches and handle are all very solid. In summary and my opinion I think there are only 2 main issues from fully operational: fix the hum, and possibly a belt or link that turns the turntable. Instruction manual and schematics seem clear and complete. There is a flip down compartment on the lid to store the audiodiscs. In the right front the needle compartment lifts up when you unscrew the center screw for storage. Very nice piece of radio phono history. Measures 20x20x9 and weighs 46 pounds. Nice condition, with pretty good wood and trimming, not easy to find this model with so many parts in good condition. This model has 4 knobs under the radio station display. When plugging in the machine and turning the on off knob the player makes an obvious on sound. When turning the knob for radio you hear more of a buzzing sound, it probably only needs an antenna. When turning the knob to record the fan goes on and the turntable attempts to spin but barely goes it may just need some grease. All mechanical parts look like they are present. All wires look like they are connected to where they belong except for what looks like a part of the radio antenna. I noticed that what I think is the knob (On the left side panel) for the radio, as shown in picture of interior, the rubber grommet looks like it disconnected from the main pulley, I tried to push it back on but it needs more force. I suspect this only needs a minimum of work to get this up and running for all functions.
