Vintage AMCO tube radio receiver from early 1900s with classic wood panel construction. Condition: Fair – visible age wear, dust, untested, missing one component seen in photos, original dials and hardware intact. Features large front panel with multiple analog tuning dials and selector switches. Includes vacuum tube, loose coupler coil, and original tuning capacitors visible in internal photos. Marked AMCO, Davenport, Iowa on transformer assembly. Wooden base measures approximately 16 inches wide by 10.5 inches deep and about 7.5 inches tall. Hand-wired components and point-to-point soldered vintage assembly. Era-appropriate glass vacuum tube socket (tube present and included, condition unknown). Made in Chelsea Massachusetts by Edwin Armstrong. Most of these radio of the Chelsea were a 1 tube radio, this one has 2 tubes that are missing. This receiver was used between 1915 and WWII notable for the ability to amplify weak radio signals. Probably a WD11 tubes but not sure. Missing the knobs and tubes. Information found on Google. Couldn’t find any information on this 2 tube model. Radio measures 7.25″ wide X 7″ High by 6 deep.

Up for sale is this vintage Hammarlund HQ-120 RECEIVER SHORTWAVE HAM RADIO. The unit is in very good condition for its age. A few of the letters are rubbed off on the front of the unit but inside is clean as shown in the photos. Unit lights up nicely and in working order! I do have a Hammarlund s-100 speaker listed separately so if you are interested in both let me know and I will work with you on the speaker!

Item will be packaged very well and fully insured! Our feedback reflects our packaging skills and loyalty to our customers! This is a rare estate item believed to be from the 1940′s. It is untested, as is, for parts or restoration. We have not plugged this unit in. After a thorough inspection, we noted at least one bad capacitor as pictured. I would personally recommend a full recap prior to plugging in. Aside from that, it’s in excellent cosmetic condition with some light blemishing and a little rust speckled behind the tuner plexi-glass as pictured. Cord has some paint speckles. Overall, very clean inside and out for it’s age! It appears to have been stored in a good environment over the years! Again, untested and strictly for parts/repair or restoration.
