Superhet ZF/IF 455 kHz, 3 AF Stages, AC/DC 110-120V, 40 Watts. Wooden Case, Bakelite Knobs, Loop Antenna. Condition: This came to us through a sale from a collector in California who was downsizing. We replaced the line cord and fixed the dial light. We tested and installed a fresh set of tubes. The radio powers on tuning in stations from the local area. We then inspected the rust free chassis and found that the caps should be replaced to improve operation. The original speaker is in excellent condition. The dial face is in excellent condition with no fading or peeling of the station numbers or design. These radios are hard to find without a broken dial face or fading. The dial string is intact. The back cover is original. The case is in excellent condition with no cracks, deep scratches or gouges. This is an excellent example of an Sonora RCU-208 that has been well taken care over over the years. Makes a great addition to any collection or for display. Measures: 15″ x 9″ x 9.
