Vintage 1920′s RCA Radiola 17 Tube Radio that is in good cosmetic condition. Finish on the solid mahogany body is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The radio is not working, I was unable to get any sound, but all of the tubes lit up. The tuning knob turns well, but is a little stiff. All of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester. Power cord is missing exterior cloth covering and is feayed in spots, overall in fair condition and should be replaced. Great candidate for restoration. An old, uncommon RCA Radiola X tube radio! It was one of the first radios to come out with an internal speaker and only about 14,000 of these were made. Wooden cabinet body with a loose horn speaker inside. The front has a lock on it which is a bit weird, we have the key but since the insides aren’t complete it doesn’t actually lock. Has the back panel with the schematics on it. Also comes with a loose Radiola X & Regenoflex schematics sheet that was sent to the previous owner in the 1960s. There’s a small box inside with hardware. Does not work and I’m unsure what servicing would be required to get it to working condition! There are pieces of wood that have broken off around the edges. There are feet on the bottom of the back, but not the front. Wear to the front panel like fading of writing and discoloration on knobs, as is expected at almost 100 years old. MEASUREMENTS: Whole radio measures approximately 21 3/4″ wide, 16″ front-to-back, and 20 tall. Carrier available to your zip code than what is listed first. VINTAGE 1920s antique RCA RADIOLA 103 working floral flower pot SPEAKER back OK! As you probably know, these speakers are notoriously missing the back cloth covering the backside as it gets bridle with age and if you lift the speaker there the cloth rips apart. This speaker works and the cloth is almost perfect. Please look at the pictures. I do know how to pack this speaker so that the back is not in contact with anything and will not get damaged. Expect the speaker to arrive as pictured here. Rare find all intact! What you see is what you get, if it is not shown and not mentioned it is most likely not included; ask if in doubt. Package weighs 10 lbs and 0 ounces and measures 18 by 18 by 12 inches. I have never had any problems with breakage and pack very carefully. RCA RADIOLA 20 in VERY NICE CONDITION. THIS RADIOLA 20 HAS BEEN ABOUT 80% RESTORED. THE TUBES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL FOUR – 199′S & 1- 20 TO FIVE 30′s. WHEN YOU HOOK UP THE PIGTAIL WIRES TO THE POWER SUPPLY… USE 2.0 VOLTS INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINAL 3.3. WE DID AND FOUND THE THE FOUR TUBES ON THE RIGHT ALL LIGHT. THE TUBE ON THE LEFT IS GOOD BUT DID NOT LIGHT. APPARENTLY THE RESTORATION ENDED BEFORE THE 1ST RF AMP WAS FIXED. THERE IS A REPLACEMENT TRANSFORMER IN THE CHASSIS. TUNING KNOBS MOVE THE TUNING CAPACITORS WITH EASE. ORIGINAL PIGTAIL WIRES STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL ID MARKINGS. NICE CLEAN WOOD SHELL WITH A NICE FINISH. NO MAJOR WOOD FLAWS. No reserve, Great Find!
