This is a nice 1946 Crosley 66TC radio known as the “American Overseas”. Cabinet has the original finish and apart from one very small repair in the veneer on the right side, it is in very nice original condition. The electronics were serviced several years ago with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced, and the radio plays well. There is some noise when tuning, most likely due to a dusty tuning capacitor. The radio has been on a shelf on display for several years. I believe the speaker was replaced in the distant past, possibly when the radio was fairly new. The Vintage 1940′s Crosley American Tube Radio 66TC with restored electronics and input jack is a collectible piece of history originating from the United States.
