Here is a Beautiful Vintage 1940 Garod 6AU-1 Commander Butterscotch and Red Catalin Tube Radio Project. It looks like this entire radio cabinet had been spray painted seafoam green at one point and then later stripped back to natural. The back is green and there is overspray inside. Catalin cabinet is fairly clean with no chips, cracks or repairs but it has a large burn on the lower right side as shown. The red grille section has a repaired crack on the upper right. It is missing the dial lens. The speaker is blown and the radio chassis only gets hum. Easy little fixer project. This will make a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection.
