Wonderful example of a late pre-war wooden table radio with Art-Deco design elements. Check out the dial silk-screen. It is in working condition, having been fully serviced some years ago with all tube sockets and controls cleaned, capacitors replaced, power cord, out of spec resistors and new dial cord. Somewhat rare as it is a pre-war and having a single Loktal tube and permanent magnet speaker. Would look amazing if cabinet were to be touched-up. I will miss this one in my collection and will be a great addition to yours.

Made in the USA and designed with RCA’s Superheterodyne circuitry. A desirable model for collectors due to its shortwave coverage and original presentation. Tube Radio (vacuum tubes). Original vintage condition with cosmetic wear consistent with age. Bakelite cabinet shows scuffs and surface wear. Original grille cloth and knobs present. Rear label present and readable. Radio is untested (no internal servicing performed). Tubes and components not tested individually. Recommended for restoration, servicing, or display. Cabinet complete with original brown Bakelite. Original grille cloth present (good pattern, not replaced). Knobs present and original. Label intact (huge plus). Visible cosmetic wear, scuffs, age patina.

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a rare, circa 1940 Brewster Model B-10, pre-WWII FM Tuner that is a great candidate for restoration. All of the tubes are new old stock – just installed and tested good. Unit features 8 tubes and it used the Armstrong Frequency Band with a range of 42-50, which was later changed to 88-108 in 1945. Cosmetically, the unit is in excellent condition, with the original finish simply cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The original cloth power cord is in good condition, with some fraying. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well.
