Here is a really beautiful Zenith Consol-tone wooden tube radio model 6D629. It measures 13 1/2 X 9 X 7 1/2 inches. The cabinet is solid with its beautiful original burled wood finish. The two tone finish is in great shape showing minimal wear. It still has the Console-tone decal on the front. The dial is in great shape. The dial cover is a perfect reproduction and looks great. The grill cloth is in great shape. The knobs are perfect reproductions. The original back is still in great shape. The power cord has been replaced and a new vintage style AC plug installed. The chassis was repaired by the previous owner and plays great picking up stations across the dial with good volume. The dial lights up nicely. A truly beautiful radio that would be a great addition to anyones collection. Thank you for looking and please take a look at my other auctions for more great items. This is a vintage zenith 7s529 3 band 7 tube radio in very good condition. The radio has a special 3 loop wire antenna which is called the radio organ. The radio plays very well and receives a large amount of stations. One of the features is automatic tuning which i don’t know how to storestatons but when i pushed the buttons it played stations. For best shortwave reception it needs a wire antenna. The dimensions are 15″ x 11″ x 9. The holders for the 3 loop wire antenna are not original and the back cover is missing.
