Vintage 1939 Streamlined Art Deco Admiral Tube Radio 20-A6 Pre-War Plastic Plaskon Urea. The streamlined Art Deco case. Is not bakelite but made of an unknown plastic. And could be Urea or Plaskon with a swirl and depth of colors not found on the darker colors. This cream color case is a very hard to find and. Scarce for this particular Admiral model. The dial is surrounded by a handsome brass bezel and the light shines nicely on the face while showing through the. Almost translucent plastics cream colored cabinet. In outstanding condition the case has some micro cracks above dial and on top they are very hard to see. And do not detract from the beauty. Of this vintage cabinet. Cracks seen on the bottom underside of the cabinet do not affect the integrity of this case. Carefully repaired to bring it back to excellent working condition. New wiring has replaced many of the old cracked insulated wires. Also a new old stock cap and 2 new replacement caps installed to bring this back to original specs. All 6 tubes tested very good or replaced with very good tested tubes. This is a very clean chassis please see photos for details of work. New rubber feet have been added to protect surfaces from chassis bolts. The original back was missing so a new vented back fashioned of. Has been installed to protect you and the components the original antenna is not. Plug added for protection. The sound quality of this radio is outstanding. Listen to it yourself on our. This is one of the best examples of the iconic Motorola 56H turbine radio that you will ever find. It is cosmetically very close to perfect and plays great. The urea plastic case is factory original with the rare seafoam green color (mixed with the plastic when molded not painted). The case has no flaws of any kind that I can find upon close examination. The Motorola logo and lettering is in great shape. The finish on the tuning dial is outstanding, as is the clear plastic cone over the dial. The chassis and electronics are in great shape, as is all of the inside of the radio. The backing board is original and close to perfect. The power cord is original and in excellent condition. The knobs are original and in excellent condition. You would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this radio. Please let me know what I can do for you to make sure that I achieve that goal. Vintage Norco tube radio with a Beetle Plastic case and matching rather intricate backing plate — Model 158 – circa 1935/1936 — case also used with the Sonora model 366-O — additionally looks like it has a field coil speaker — case measures 5 by 10 by 6 3/8 in. High — seems to be a fairly rare radio. No tubes found with this/cord getting crunchy so not tested: radio clicks on/off // dial turns — main case has hairline stress crack on one side panel and light soiling o/w mostly nice condition / back panel has two cracks near the top in the middle, with one screw missing — both parts of the case also have smoky discoloration on the inside — – always listing interesting historical Tech. Offering an antique 1939 GE/ General Electric “Beetle Plastic ” Tube Radio, Model H-600U. This six tube broadcast band radio is very clean with original back panel, knobs, and factory label on the bottom. The dial lights up, but I can only get a buzzing sound, no station reception. The stunningly swirled beetle plastic is in excellent condition as can be seen it the photos. There are minor blemishes, very tight stress in the plastic in no way deter from the beauty that is Beetle plastics and are virtually impossible to photograph. The beetle plastic back is all original and flawless. The two knobs are original and are in proper working order and in excellent condition. Overall this is an excellent radio that is sure not to disappoint a new owner. Beetle plastic radios are becoming more and more difficult to find so don’t let this one get past you. Briefly powered this up and it does receive radio stations and it appears to be in good working condition. Condition: Powers up, Tunes stations with good sound – Clock runs and keeps time – Alarm works – There is a couple of cracks in the clock cover – Cabinet has a few scratches, But no cracks. NOTE – Power cord is bare at connection, as shown – Should be repaired! This measures about 7 inches tall and about 11 inches wide. I guarantee the item to be as described. Philco Tubes for TV and Radio Vintage plastic clock Estate find. The clock does work. The clock does show aging in the plastic crystal. There are scratches and a crack in the plastic that is about 6.5 inches long. Some of the letters are faded in the letters of the words at the bottom. When the clock is turned on the crack and fading are not unsightly. In spite of the aging, it is a nice vintage clock. Please review carefully and ask questions as needed.
