This 1930s Fada radio USA Made. Some fading and discoloring due to age. Overall in great working shape. Able to get several local radio station signals. Both dials are original and turn with no drag. Beautiful and petite Lafayette tube radio in shiny white plaskon! This radio is in excellent condition with no damage to it’s fragile plaskon case. There is a small stress line on the top of the cabinet, it is minor with no separation. Other than this blemish the plaskon cabinet is perfect. The knobs and the dial lens are original. I love the styling of this radio, note the top right corner where three of the case lines meet and terminate, it’s just lovely! The chassis is clean and the radio does work. This wonderful little Lafayette should prove to be a wonderful addition to your plaskon collection and you will enjoy it’s visual display like it is as I have done for many years! Vintage Norco tube radio with a Beetle Plastic case and matching rather intricate backing plate — Model 158 – circa 1935/1936 — case also used with the Sonora model 366-O — additionally looks like it has a field coil speaker — case measures 5 by 10 by 6 3/8 in. High — seems to be a fairly rare radio. No tubes found with this/cord getting crunchy so not tested: radio clicks on/off // dial turns — main case has hairline stress crack on one side panel and light soiling o/w mostly nice condition / back panel has two cracks near the top in the middle, with one screw missing — both parts of the case also have smoky discoloration on the inside — – always listing interesting historical Tech. Very hard to find this mid century Deco radio in Ivory plaskon, the radio displays well, made circa 1951 by Westinghouse of Canada. The radio is solid ivory or white plaskon, not painted. The case on this radio has several stresslines as is visible in the pictures. The factory original back cover is present. Original knobs and dial. The radio is tested and does not receive any stations. Should wish to play this, I recommend having it serviced by a qualified technician. The chassis is clean and complete, some tube light up, but no broadcasts received. RARE Vintage 1940s Addison Tube Radio Marble Plaskon Catalin Battery. Gorgeous vintage tube radio by Addison. This appears to be a harder to find battery model. Case is in nice shape – a few faint hairlines (see photos), back panel is missing, and there is some damage to the upper corner of the dial cover, original knobs, no chips that I can see. For Sale is an early 1940′s all Plaskon 5 tube Addison model 2 radio know as the “Baby Addison”. This model was manufactured in Canada in Catalin, Plaskon and any # of combinations of the two plastics. This original Plaskon cabinet is a highly marbled Olive color, with dark and light brown swirls, that I’ve heard referred to as a peanut butter color. I’ve also heard this was an “end of day” color. I believe it is unusual and just one of the 30+ color combinations Addison produced. The original Plaskon waterfall trim and bumpers are a slightly darker swirled olive color. The original cabinet and trim are damage-free; no chips, cracks, hairlines or tube burns. The cabinet, trim and knobs have a lovely, shiny patina. The original dial face perfectly matches the cabinet color and is in great condition. The original dial lens is still clears and in great shape. This is a rare Espey Model 31 Roundabout tube radio chassis. It is red Catalin and Ivory Plaskon. It is not complete and is not working. It is missing parts including one of the end caps and some of the dial mechanism. The separate power and antenna wires have been cut off. It is in good condition with some general wear and stains. It can be cleaned up some more. There is a crack in one of the louvers on the red end cap. No other breaks or cracks. It measures about 8.5 long.
