Vintage Pink 50′s Montgomery Wards Airline Twin Speaker Tube Radio WG-1635A. It turns on but needs work or an antenna. I got this for decoration and don’t want to work on it but believe it can work with the correct know-how. It’s a gorgeous radio.
Please note: The radio DOES NOT work. It DOES NOT work. It measures about 6 1/2″ wide x 5″ tall x 4 5/8 deep. It is a pink Bakelite material. The bakelite is in good condition with no cracks, but it is a little dirty. It has a dial on the front and the volume dial on the side. It has 560737-R on the back. It does not have 811-B on it anywhere, but with my research I believe it is that model.

Includes original propeller style dial indicator, external antenna terminal. Dial illuminated with LED lamp. 100% tested and in working condition. Please note: while this radio has been restored to original specifications, it employs vintage technology. When manufactured, it was not subject to the large amount of radio interference generated today from LED and fluorescent lighting, modern electronics, cell phones, flat screen televisions, computers, etc. Careful placement of the radio is often needed to minimize interference.
