Vintage Philco Tube Radio 48-482 Tested & Powers On For Parts/Repair

Vintage Philco Tube Radio 48-482. Tested & powers on, but when I got to change the station it doesn’t move. So, I’m not sure that the knob even works. I do hear a buzzing sound and the volume seems to get louder when I turn it up. One of the clear plastic button covers is missing. It also has some imperfections on the cabinet, but overall is a pretty solid piece. I’m not sure if the tubes are working, when I plug it in I see two lights. They may be noticeable in the photos. Also when I plug it in it kind of has a funny smell, but I think it’s just because it’s old. Please see pictures for item details.

Vintage Philco Tube Radio Model 38-9 Art Deco Curved Design – FOR PARTS/REPAIR. This item is in used condition. There are signs of wear and discoloration throughout due to use and aging. This item is for parts/repair only. This item is untested. The power cord is cracked and there are exposed wires. It will need to be replaced. There may be other issues. The radio case measures approximately 17 – 1/2 inches x 10 – 7/8 inches x 9 inches. There is discoloration/wear throughout. The power cord is damaged and has exposed wires. It will need to be replaced (as shown in the photos). The speaker fabric has staining/wear. The dial indicator has deep discoloration/fading. The case has deep scratching/scuffing throughout. The case needs to be cleaned / refinished. There is like a matte finish to the case. There is also scratching/scuffing in the finish. There is dirt/debris throughout and inside the radio. This item is in used condition. There are signs of wear and discoloration throughout due to use and aging. This item is for parts/repair only. The radio turns on but only hums. When moving the knobs there is feedback/static noises. Someone added a on/off switch on the right side of the radio case. I’m uncertain what this switch does. There may be other issues. I’m uncertain if all the parts/pieces are original to the item. The radio case measures approximately 21 – 7/8 inches x 17 inches x 12 inches at the widest points. The case has deep scratching/scuffing throughout the item. There is discoloration/wear throughout. The finish on the case has worn/faded off throughout. You can see the haziness throughout the case (as shown in the photos). I’m uncertain if someone tried redoing the finish before or not. The chassis and parts have rust/corrosion throughout. The dial is very hard to read. The middle dial light doesn’t work. The metal cylinder piece has white stuff coming out off it. The case is separating throughout. There is also cracking/splitting in the case. There is dirt/debris throughout. There may be other issues throughout. Please use the photos of the item to determine the type, condition, and value. Vintage 1946 Truetone D2613 Green Bakelite Tube Radio Art Deco – Parts/Repair. For sale is a beautiful vintage 1946 Truetone Model D2613 tabletop tube radio in a highly desirable hunter green Bakelite/plastic cabinet. The green cabinet is in great shape for its age. The lattice grille and control panel show great Art Deco styling. The three original cream control knobs are present. TECHNICAL CONDITION / READ CAREFULLY. This radio powers on and the internal dial lights up. The speaker emits a loud rushing static noise when the volume is turned up, but it is currently unable to tune into any radio stations. The flat cardboard back panel containing the loop antenna is completely missing, which is likely why it cannot receive signals. Do not leave it plugged in for long periods without an electronic overhaul.

Antique 1926 Neutrowound Super Six Tube Radio Untested For Parts/Repair. The radio measures 33 3/4″ L x 8 3/4″ W x 5 1/2 H and weighs 24lbs. The radio is untested and for parts or repair. The case is in good shape with some scuffing and marks from age and use. The wood base has some scuffing and marks from age and use. The tubes appear to be unbroken and the covers look to be in good shape as shown. The markings are visible and clear as shown. The manufacturing plate has some scuffing and paint loss as shown. The cord is cut and damaged as shown. The knobs all move easily. Please refer to photos for complete condition.

Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. Vintage Emerson DW-330B Bakelite Tube Radio – 1941 Art Deco – PARTS / REPAIR / RESTORATION. The DW-330B is part of Emerson’s “American Five” family, produced between 1939 and 1942; this example dates to 1941. It uses the classic five-tube superheterodyne (“All American Five” / AA5) circuit. The power cord has been cut and the radio is UNTESTED; it does not power on as-is and will need servicing before use. The chassis appears relatively unmolested (original and not previously hacked), and the pasteboard dial face is damaged. THE CABINET is the highlight: no cracks, no chips, and no detracting scratches, with good original luster – a great candidate for restoration or as a parts donor. Cabinet measures approximately 12.5″ W x 8.5″ H x 6 D. Please review all photos closely, as they form part of the description.
