1933 SILVERTONE 6 LEG / 12 TUBE RADIO CONSOLE PART FOR SALE. WE CANNOT FIGURE THE EXACT MODEL NUMBER OF THIS 1933 SILVERTONE CONSOLE. HOWEVER, IT HAS 6 LEGS & THE CHASSIS WAS BUILT THROUGH RCA, GE, AND WESTINGHOUSE. THE CHASSIS MODEL NUMBER IS B-18842. THE RADIO LOOKS QUITE A BIT LIKE THE SILVERTONE MODELS 1650 AND 1654 BUT THE MODEL WE HAVE HAS 5 KNOBS AND THE 1650 / 1654 HAVE 4 KNOBS. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE CORRECT MODEL IS FOR THIS SILVERTONE? TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING… THE CHASSIS WITH THE NUMBER B-18842 as shown in the gallery photos. THIS CHASSIS WITH 12 TUBES WORKS… ALTHOUGH IT COULD USE SOME UPGRADING. THE SOUND IS OK….. BUT COULD BE IMPROVED WITH SOME NEW CAPACITORS. VOLUME WAS ALSO OK…. BUT ONCE AGAIN THERE IS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. CONDITION: WORKING CHASSIS WITH ROOM FOR UPGRADING ITS PERFORMANCE. PHILCO TUBE RADIO PART FOR SALE. TESTED AND FOUND TO BE WORKING…. THE RESTORED 116X CHASSIS. THIS CHASSIS WAS RESTORED IN 2004 WITH OVER 30 NEW CAPACITORS, A NEW LINE CORD, AND A NEW VOLUME CONTROL. HERE’S A COUPLE OF THINGS I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH: FIRST… I STILL HEAR SOME LINE NOISE WITH THE STATION SIGNAL. THE RESTORER DID SOMETHING FUNKY TO HOLD THE STATION GRAPHIC ONTO THE SHAFT. IT LOOKS AS IF HE USED SOME DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. SEE THE LAST GALLERY PHOTO. THERE MAY BE A FEW THINGS TO WORK ON…. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A WORKING CHASSIS. CONDITION: WORKING CHASSIS WITH A FEW ISSUES.
