For Your Consideration I have this Very Nice 60 year old! Motorola Radio Model 5A5, Made in 1946. This little radio is one of the first portables ever made! It uses the following tubes: 3S4, 1T4, 1S5, and a large 117Z3. All metal and Bakelite/plastic with leather handle. The radio is in Very Nice cosmetic condition. The Radio is COMPLETE. The radio Is in as found untested condition. I would try it, however the cord is very brittle. The case shows very little wear and the Dial face is Very Nice! Leather Strap still Intact. Case measures 6-1/2″W x 5-1/2″W x 5D.. The Back opens up to show a very nice UNMOLESTED Radio. The front opens to Show a Beautiful little wear Dial face. Cloth speaker still intact. This is the highly desirable 1941 model 6-S-527 table top tube radio featuring an American Walnut cabinet, attractive black and silver dial, exotic wood inlays, built in loop antenna. Case is all original and has had no repairs, case does have a small area on the right rear side about one. That needs minor attention.
