It has phono input on the back but there are wires soldered to them. Also a din connector for tape recorder input. Extension speaker single pin jacks for 4 and 8 ohm speakers. Condition is For parts or repair. We are not certain if the model is a 6 or 7, if you have that expertise please write us and let us know. There are 7 tubes in the unit. The chassis is solid. There is normal wear but it all looks good, see pictures. The rack switch bank works perfectly. The tuning dial is very smooth and stops at each end point. If you have any questions please write and we’ll do our best to answer. We maxed out the picture space so We can send more pictures if you need. VINTAGE TELEFUNKEN OPUS 7 TUBE TUNER. Working – Tested and Inspected by Technician. Very Good Condition – See Pictures. Tuning Condensers are Free Turning. Chassis in Good Condition with no Corrosion or Oxidation. Volume Control and Tuning Dials Need to be Lubricated – Read Below. Original Schematic Available on Back Panel. A very common issue with these units is that over the years the original lubricants applied to the volume control shaft and tuning shafts tend to congeal. The tuning is a “dual” set up with two knobs, one for FM, and the second for the other bands. In this set they turn free, but the mechanism needs to be disassembled and re-lubricated to be as originall made. This is strictly a labor issue, there are no parts involved. Another issue is the volume conrol, while properly working, is very stiff. Volume changes correctly, b ut as with the tuning, the control will need to be disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated. Again, this is strictly a labor issue, no parts are needed. Certainly being original and unrestored there will be minor issues found along the way, but overall this unit is a wonderful candidate for not at all difficult and minimal cost restoration.
