This R-4C “works”, but needs some attention to get it in top-top shape. It receives a signal, but the pots/switches are extremely scratchy and need to be cleaned with contact cleaner. The chassis is very dirty and there’s a good amount of dust inside. The faceplate looks good, however there’s a good-sized dent on the back (see photos). This will make a great restoration piece. Also, please note that this receiver originally had the noise-blanker installed. This has been removed for another project, but you’ll need to make up a jumper for the socket, else the receiver won’t work at all. This item will be packaged using our InstaPak foam-in-bag system, ensuring the utmost protection! Has some paint loss on the bakelite cabinet. No breaks or cracks. Charlie still has monocle Knobs turn properly. Do to cord having so many splits I didn’t test.
