The latches to the case work perfectly; the knob tune and volume works as it should. Screen is clear and has no dings, chips or discoloration (please excuse the glare spots from the lighting, but it is excellent). Has hookup for head phones, too. Picked up Russian broadcasts when I turned it on! This is a GREAT RADIO!!! Size overall is 17″ x 7 1/2″ x 11. For sale is a Vintage Zenith Royal RD7000Y Trans-Oceanic Multi Band Radio. Excellent to near mint condition! Complete with charts, maps etc. No static in any knobs. Padded sides are like new. The only blemish on the whole radio are a couple light scratches on the top of the radio’s handle. Plastic battery tubes are NOT included. Dial and chart lights work when batteries are installed (by design). Battery / tuning meter works. Have picked up broadcasts on all bands. Antenna is straight and complete. THIS MICROPHONE HAS THE VINTAGE LOOK OF THE PAST ART DECO BYGONE ERA OF THE 1950′s AND 1960′s. THE INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN. I HAVE PLUGED THIS MICROPHONE INTO AN AMPLIFIER AND GOT NO SOUND. THIS IS THE RARE MODEL WITH THE BUILT IN SHOCKMOUNT AND THE MULTI -IMPEDANCE SWITCH OPTION AND THAT IS ALSO WORKING. THE CONDITION OF THIS MIC IS VERY NICE.
