It works and played one station but the tuning knob would only go from 55 to 75. There is some paint over spray on the top and sides. Expect wear and blemishes. Please use the pictures to judge the item.

It’s in pretty good shape for its age. I cleaned it up but the tuner string was broken and I couldn’t restring it. It is currently on a local station but nothing happens when you turn the tuning knob. It also makes a humming noise. Be sure to check out the video. Check my other listings for more great deals.

THE CASE IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE THERE IS SOME TAPE RESIDUE ION THE TOP. THERE IS ON PUSH KNOB THAT IS MISSING AND THE KNOB TO TURN IT ON IS MISSING A PIECE THE SPEAKER CLOTH IS TORN AS YOU CAN SEE. I DID PLUG IT IN AND IT WORKS AND THE LIGHT COMES ON THE DIAL MOVES WHEN YOU TURN THE KNOB AND THE RADIO STATIONS COME IN AS WE LISTENED TO IT FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTE WHEN YOU PUSH THE KNOBS FOR THE PRESETS IT DOES MOVE BUT IT IT IS VERY HARD MAYBE IT CAN BE CLEANED AND LUBED. Antique Art Deco Montgomery Wards Airline Tombstone Radio Model 62-150 for Restoration or Parts. Offering this fabulous antique Montgomery Wards Airline Tombstone Radio Model 62-150. This radio turns on, lights up, and I have been able to get one faint radio station over the background hum. The tuning display light has a slow intensity flicker. The case is in good condition. There is one spot in the finish on the left side as pictured. There are some cracks in the veneer by the knobs as pictured. The original fabric covering the speaker is in extraordinary condition, but it needs to be stretched taunt. This radio is a work of art, and it would make a great addition to a collection or as a restoration project. Please see pictures for the actual condition of this handsome classic radio. Vintage tube amp mono block audio Airline Montgomery Ward Radio Tubes 62-150 SD4. Includes the proper antenna. Brought in one station clearly. It was an oldies station!!! Everything looks to operate fine. Smooth dial on tuner. Hi and low time control. Looks like someone did a pretty through restoration on this. There are pencil markings about the piece and the cord is a more modern cord than you would expect from a 1932 piece of electronics. These old electronics are fragile and sensitive. We 100% guarantee it will be packed and secured to brave the voyage ahead. We have shown that it powers on. We have explained that it actually worked. You may not get stations in your area without adjustments to the tuner. Please understand that if it arrives and doesnt function we are not to be held responsible.
