Wonderful example of a late pre-war wooden table radio with Art-Deco design elements. Check out the dial silk-screen. It is in working condition, having been fully serviced some years ago with all tube sockets and controls cleaned, capacitors replaced, power cord, out of spec resistors and new dial cord. Somewhat rare as it is a pre-war and having a single Loktal tube and permanent magnet speaker. Would look amazing if cabinet were to be touched-up. I will miss this one in my collection and will be a great addition to yours.

I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. For your consideration is this Grundig Majestic Model 1070 Tube Radio. The tube radio, cosmetically, is in fair condition. There is staining and discoloration most notably on the front side of the radio. The off button is cracked. The volume control knob is difficult to operate. I peered behind the back cover and noticed some corrosion (please see pictures). I did not attempt to test this tube radio. I have been told I can potentially damage the radio without first replacing the capacitors. I would prefer that this go to someone who can restore this radio and bring it back to life! The dimensions of the radio are 20″ Length, 8″ Depth, 13 Height.
