Here we have a Vintage 1940′s Mitchell Airboy Sr. Aviation Navigation Receiver & Trans -Model AT-92-50. Appears to be complete. Has fold out schematics. The knob does turn the dial properly. The leather handle is in good condition. There is some paint loss on the top of the case. This takes two 67-1/2 V. I don’t have the batteries, so I was unable to test this. Cosmetically – except for the paint loss- this is in very nice vintage condition. The tubes look good, they weren’t all caked with dust, like some old tube radios can get. This measures appoximately 6-1/4″ x 5″ x 5 tall. Manufactured by Mitchell, Inc out of Mineral Wells, Texas.

Vintage WW II Rocket Shaped Lamp/Radio by Mitchell Model 1260. Michell only made 2 radios, the Lullabybed lamp radio and this one the Lumitone lamp radio. I have not had this unit apart. Although missing the original shade this unit is in almost new condition. Both the lamp and radio work although statically. Very rare original Metal Turquoise color rarely seen. I have not even cleaned this radio but it is in great condition. Total height is 28 inches. Weighs about 8 lbs. Sticker on bottom reads Mitchell Mfg. You are looking at an Art Deco Lumitone Mitchell MFG lamp with a working radio. It seems to be in nice shape with a few spots of missing color. I bought it in a very small Minnesota town and they were able to get the radio to come in pretty clearly, but there was a small amount of static. I live in a valley, so I do not get radio reception. The lamp without the shade is about 17 1/2 tall, the base is about 7 1/4 across the widest point. The shade is in nice shape, but does have some threading missing at the top. The shade measures approximately 17 x 8 1/4. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 12 PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITION. This comes from a smoke free home. You are looking at an Art Deco Lumitone Mitchell MFG lamp. Radio turns on and buzzes. Does not tune in Because the The tuning capacitor rotors has come off. Lamp does not work because the wiring is missing and bad. Comes with a nice heavy brass 3 way switch and 12 Lamp harp. Speaker has a crack in the paper. I was going to restore it and try to make it bluetooth. But its above my paygrade LOL It seems to be in nice shape. The lamp without the socket is about 15 tall, the base is about 6.5 across the widest point. To the vintage electrical radio person it is a BARGAIN!
