This is a very nice example of the super rare military version of the H500 Transoceanic line. The dial lite works as well as the various bands. Broadcast is clear with lots of volume. Shortwave bands vary in selectivity and volume. Was able to listen to all the bands except the weather bands. Case covering is tight with some light uneven areas in the back lid. Antenna has the correct tip and antenna pulls up with out kinks. Issues known are some written letters lightly marked on the top… May not show in pictures since they are light. I also believe there are supposed to be some clips to hold spare fuse and/or tubes inside the back lid… On the back side of the tan plastic antenna plate in the lid are some scuffed spots on the corners. The aluminum identification tag is a reproduction of the original.
