Offering a very rare 1930′s AMPERITE RBH Ribbon Microphone. Built in New York City, and one that displays very well! Quite often these are rusty and crusty so it’s a bit unusual to find one this nice. This mic is 100% complete, ribbon looks OK, but only produces very low output. It is all ORIGINAL and not repainted. The gun metal finish displays well and is free of any dents, rust or visual defects. Includes a 4 foot long cord with 3 pin XLR male connector. THE VINTAGE HEAVY CAST IRON STAND IS INCLUDED. The yoke holds the mic firmly in any tilted position and is attached to a replacement chrome male microphone adapter so it will mount to any deck stand or boom. It has a very clean original Amperite badge, which almost always go missing. Note: Amperite made the RBH and RAH models, look exactly the same, but the RBH model was double the cost of the RAH, better frequency response, and 50% heavier in weight than the RAH. Amperite produced some of the most attractive and modernistic art-deco designs of its day, were quite popular in night-club, P.
