Vintage Valve Radio c. 1954 Marconi Companion T37DA Tube MW LW Bakelite. This quirky-looking radio was manufactured by Marconiphone, one of the legendary names in radio manufacture. This model is the Companion T37DA, a valve-based model produced from aroun 1954 and capable of picking up MW and LW signals. The unit is small and relatively portable, measuring just 313 x 208 x 160 mm. The control knobs are a little spongey as it appears someone has tried to glue them back on at some point. Cosmetically, the radio would benefit from light cleaning and the bakelite finish will polish up very well. In the latter case, we will send you an invoice ASAP.
