A very rare model #2 by Addison Industries, of Toronto, ON Canada, this is the wood model of the similar model as the catalin baby Addison “Waterfall”. In 28 years I have only seen this example in wood. This radio is from the collection of Mark Woolley. Beautiful solid maple wood cabinet refinished with contrasting ebony finish and bakelite fluted knobs. Radio retains its back panel and it plays well!! DISPLAY, PLAY, AND ENJOY!! This gorgeous radio was made circa 1939. Model CH-256, widely considered one of the most sought-after cabinet designs by Ingraham (made in Connecticut). Cabinet features raised and curved grille bars (FACTORY ORIGINAL), Bakelite knobs, original Ingraham foil and Emerson label on bottom. The plastic dial lens has been replaced. Measures 10.5″ wide x 6.25″ high x 4.5 deep. The chassis has been electronically restored, and plays.
