AS IS on a Majestic Radio from the 1940s, model number 5A410 chassis number 4501. Majestic, The “Mighty Monarch of the Air”! This Majestic radio is in nice shape, all things considered. The case is over all in good conditions for the age, it has some age blemishes and 2 small cracks, both not really noticeable one on the side rear area and one on the edge bottom bellow the left button. Vintage Majestic Sail Boat Radio Melody Cruiser

This 1939 radio, modeled after a sail boat is truly a piece of art. It is constructed out of wood, and has polished metal sails with wire riggings. It also has polished railings and metal port hole trim. The speaker cloth is in good condition, and there are no major scratches on this rig. It is in near new condition, which is incredible considering the age of this radio. Very little wear, and no major damage or scratches. All sails, wire, and other details seem to be in place. Functions well as shown in the video. No repairs or improvements have been made by us, there are no major repairs apparent from past owners. The Majestic Melody Cruiser is a prewar radio manufactured by the Majestic Radio Company. Built in 1939, it is in immaculate condition for its age. This radio is perfect for any person who enjoys radios or boats. It is a rare piece, and you will be hard pressed to find a similar radio in better condition. United States of America. Condition is very good. The wood is in good condition with only a superficial split in the front. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The case may have been recoated based on the drips on the bottom. The front of the dadio is good, with one replaced knob. The grille is mostly straight. The speaker fabric has some wear as can be seen in the photos. The case has scratches on the sides. The original paper label is on the inside of the case. The radio comes with the original box which is brittle and missing the top flaps. Grundig Majestic 4090 Table Top Hi Fi Stereo Vintage Tube Radio Germany Working

This is one of the largest Grundigs ever produced. The huge glass scale requires three bulbs to illuminate. It has several vacuum tubes, four speakers and four bands. The cabinet is in very nice condition with its low profile design and original finish. The metal grilles and back cover are all excellent. There is a bit of separation on one corner of the cabinet which is likely easily fixed. There is a 1/2 chip of veneer on top front edge and a smaller chip on the right top side. I put a bit of wood putty on this but the purist may want to see what can be done to repair these chips. A power switch has been added so power is not always on and so unit can be left plugged in. This extends out of the back cover and doesn’t really look great but this can also be easily removed. The decorative material behind the grill is aged and has dust on it and has slipped in a couple places. I imagine these could be replaced, cleaned or turned the other side out possibly. Some crazing of the finish but overall a very beautiful unit. Great sound, knobs are tight and solid feeling. Reception on many channels. No humming and no smoke odor. More pictures will be added later and are also available upon request. This unit is approximately 28″W x 14″H x 12D and 43 pounds packed. A great piece which has given our family hours of nostalgic pleasure. These collectible novelty sailor themed vintage radios are unusual and sought after by radio collectors. Of the four different models in my collection, this one seems to have been the most difficult to find and exceedingly so in this condition. I have four models all different and all in excellent condition and all are restored and play very well! It has an anchor style cutout on the front of the solid wood cabinet and also on the back panel. All parts are intact on this radio, the sails, rails, dial, grill cloth, knobs, etc. Are all factory original. Nameplate is intact on the bow. Measures approximately 18″ from stern to bow at the widest point, and approximately 17″ high. Radio is electronically restored and plays well. This listing is for a Vintage Majestic Art Deco Majestic Model 460 Table Radio. This i one of the most beautiful radios I have ever seen and it is in excellent condition as you can see. The chrome is perfect everywhere. The knobs are perfect. The original wood finish is excellent as well. It has no issues. Electrically it plays very well with strong reception even with three feet of wire a an antenna in my basement. I cleaned the switches and potentiometers, tube sockets. Tubes are tested, weak ones replaced. You would be hard pressed to find a better example of this rare beauty! NO OTHERS WILL BE RECEIVED.
