THIS IS A HEAVY SPEAKER WITH A THICK CAST METAL. WEIGHT OF THE SPEAKER UNIT IS ABOUT 20 LBS. METAL CABINET SHOWS SOME WEAR WITH SOME BARE METAL AREAS — ESPECIALLY THE TOP. The original charts and instruction booklet are included and in very good shape. The cord retracts nicely, but does not lock in place. Dial setting does not lock in place. Tring that controls needle snapped. Outer case is in good condition, missing lifting handle. Some scuff marks and spots due to age. This is one beautiful old radio, and it works great! The former owner refurbished this; a new retractable AC cord, all new tubes, a good cleaning, some new wires. There are a couple of extra tubes included. The antenna extends almost 6 feet, and is perfect. The outer case shows use, and there are a few scuffs and very small tears in the cloth covering, but no damage to the outer chassis. As far as the display is concerned there is a small crack at the top of the band display. Needs nothing done; ready to use. Thanks for your interest; enjoy your vintage radio!
