Excellent shape, fully reconditioned both the chassis and the wooden cabinet. The radio works on all bands, with a pleasant sound enhanced by the natural wood resonance.

This has been in my family for years, a real wood cabinet, gorgeous vintage Saba tube radio. These are highly collectable, and were considered the’cadillac’ of german radio design. This one is a german import, so everything is in german and you can switch the radio down to 110v, which has already been done so you can just use a plug adapter to convert the EU plug with this. The sound this radio produces is great, coming from 2 6x9s in front, and two more speakers on the side. Controls are smooth, and well built. Works fine, powers up as seen in these photos and produces sound. Tests beyond that were not performed. The radio has some marks here and there on the cabinet, with no serious damage. Only problem seems to be volume knob on the right appears stuck (at full volume) and wouldn’t move down when we tested this unit so we have priced it lower.
