Here we have a vintage 1948 Trav-ler Tube Radio. This radio sounds great. It is surprisingly loud. Runs on 2 x 1,5 / 67,5 Volt batteries. Batteries are not included. Leather is in very nice condition. Battery compartment is clean as well. Obviously well taken care of over the years! Here is some information we found on this model at radio museum. This old Yaesu looks pretty good for it’s age! The cabinet is a little dirty, but should clean up well. The paint is original and there are just a few small scuffs and scratches. The cover is missing the two small screws that secure it in place. The faceplate still has the factory’s plastic film over it. Inside, it’s dusty but will clean up well with just some compressed air. I’m guessing it’s original and unmodified, but I’m not an expert on this model by any means, so please review the photos for yourself and judge for yourself. This is an ideal candidate for electronic restoration! This piece of equipment is believed to have not been used in years (possibly decades). It will almost certainly need some level of service. This may include: replacement of electrical components (such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, tubes, etc), cleaning of controls, alignment, and so forth. Vintage KLH Model 8 Tube Radio & Speaker Working Looks Great

Hard to find, vintage KLH Model 8 Tube Radio & Speaker that is in excellent working condition. This classic early 1960s radio and speaker is able to receive stations quite readily with minimal background noise. All of the dials turn smoothly and properly and the speaker grill cloth is in good condition as well, with no tears or holes. The finish on the solid walnut body of the radio and speaker is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The power cord is in good condition, but a bit stiff. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered. This SBE amp is in great cosmetic condition. It’s been stored in an indoor and climate controlled environment, not a dirty shed in the backyard. It appears to be all original with no modifications, although I didn’t inspect the underside of the chassis (aside from what was visible through the cooling vent). The tubes are untested but look good with solid getter flashings and solid printing/branding. This one will make an ideal restoration candidate! After nearly eight years in business, we’ve made the decision to no longer test vintage equipment that’s been sitting idle for long periods of time. I apologize for this, but we’ve simply encountered too many problems. But that doesn’t necessarily mean this is a junker! Vintage RCA Model 5T1 Tombstone Radio Looks Great! Working

Vintage RCA Model 5T1 Tombstone radio that is in working condition. The radio does have problems turning on, the knob on the left moves freely, but the radio will not come on at times and the knob needs to be turned half way at times to get the radio functioning. When it does come on, the radio is able to receive stations quite readily with an antenna wire attached to the rear of the radio. The knob on the right side of the radio does not move at all, which may be why the radio does not function properly. The radio looks great for its age, with the finish all original and simply cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The grill cloth is in great shape, with no rips or holes. The electric cord is a replacement and is in excellent condition. The dial indicator functions properly and the volume control works well also. Radio stands 17 1/2″ tall, 13 1/4″ wide and 8 deep.
