Drake T-4XC Vintage Tube Ham Radio Transmitter w/ Manual LATE SN 26273. This transmitter is in fantastic condition. Costmetically, it’s probably the nicest we’ve seen, at least on the outside. The cabinet doesn’t have a scratch on it and the faceplate is just as nice. The chassis does show a little age, but it’s still better than most. The sale also includes the original user manual and interconnect cables. The rig operates just as well as it looks. We got about 100 watts out, which is about what you would expect. Overall, this is one of the nicest T-4XC units available on the market today! Combine this with the late serial number I think they went up to 30,000? , and you have a collector quality transmitter. Lastly, just to be clear, I want to point out that the AC-4 power supply is not included. Please realize that this is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it’s impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
