Vintage Fisher Research Laboratories RF-45 direction finder receiver, serial number 839, manufactured in Palo Alto, California. This tube-based unit was used in marine and aviation navigation applications during the 1940s-1950s. The set retains its original Kelvin & Wilfrid O. White illuminated pelorus compass, intact glass meter, and all control knobs. Tubes are present and sockets appear clean. Unit has not been powered or tested due to the absence of a compatible VDC power cable. Offered in as-found estate condition with light cosmetic wear and age patina.
