The radio was manufactured by International radio in Ann Arbor Michigan. The corporation’s Kadette brand is well known for some of the earliest Bakelite radios produced. This radio is well used and needs TLC. I only wiped the radio down with a damp cloth and have done no cleaning of the unit. The unit turns on and lights up but the tuning nob moves the dial reluctantly. The cord is frayed in several spots. This is a great radio for display in your collection or a perfect restoration project for a very unique radio. There were 2 radio tubes in the box which I will include, I do not know if they go with the radio or even work. The box came out of a basement and shows its age.
