Measures about 12 inches wide, 8.5 inches tall and 9 inches deep. Which has been linked to Warwick Manufacturing, a Chicago-based company. Usually AC line-powered with a permanent magnet or electro-dynamic moving coil. They are considered rare. However, “Junior” was not a single, universal brand name used only by one company. Multiple, unrelated manufacturers during that time used “Junior” in their product names or model lines, such as Philco and Jessie French.

Up for sale is this old Thorola Junior gooseneck radio speaker. Its from the early 1920 and is in very good condition. It stands 19″ tall and the bakelite cone is 11.5″ across. There are some scuff marks on the cone that can be wet sanded and buffed out, otherwise its very shiny and damage free, no chips or cracks. The pot metal base has some light corrosion and paint loss. I connected 12 volts DC current momentarily to the speaker leads and got static, so I’m going to assume it works.
