Overall, the radio is in excellent cosmetic condition. I do not believe the radio has been restored. The volume control at times does have static when turning. 11 lb 6 oz.

This radio comes to you as “Farm Fresh”, meaning, other than a quick wipe down of surface areas with a damp rag, no additional cleaning was performed. This was done to help you easily evaluate the cosmetic condition. There is lots of dust and dirt inside, so it is in need of a good cleaning. Wood cabinet with oval speaker, vacuum tube chasis. Very good condition Hard to believe its close to 70 years old Worked when tested This is what we observed when we tested it for at least an hour: The 5 push buttons work well. The 1st one is the off button. When buttons 2,3, & 5 are down we hear a hum & static. When button 4 is down, we were able to hear several stations. Most were clear, a few had static. Some of this is probably the result that we are located at the base of a mountain & some of the channels are for foreign frequency. Both tuning knobs on the right work well. The large button on the left is stationary, the left, small volumn button works well but is missing a gold, metal cap on the front The tuning strength light does light up as well as the station area. It shows up better when its dark as shown The exterior has minor wear, minimal scratches, scuffs & crazing, has a nice shine The antenna, cord & plug is in great shape. This item is big & heavy. In very nice cosmetic condition. The high-level inputs work fine, too. Has the original tubes except for the recently replaced EF89. A 5-pin DIN input cable is provided (use the white lead). Tested OK with my portable CD player. An unused solder-type conventional 2-pin DIN speaker plug is also included. This is a real conversation starter!! Telefunken Jubilate De Luxe 1261 FUNCTIONAL Made in Germany Vintage Tube Radio. This is a working radio and it picks up my local FM radio stations easily. Im not sure about the other bands as Im pretty sure you would need a special antenna. As seen in the photos it comes with a schematic so service is much easier. Please be aware this is a old tube radio and maintenance is part of owning a appropriately 60 year old item, tubes wear out and capacitors dry out. Please view all photos as this is a vintage item with signs of use and aging. Of utmost importance is packaging and this is something I take pride in and damaged items are simply not acceptable. With a delicate item such as this Ill bubble wrap it and then either build a box around it or if I have the proper one use that, then it will placed inside another box with more bubble wrap, essentially a box within a box. I assume that items will be bumped about and plan for such events. Absolutely no Humpty Dumpty situations. Youll receive your item damage free and ready to enjoy.
