I obtained about 80 tube and transistor radios from an estate sale. I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings. NONE OF THESE CURRENTLY FOR SALE. This listing is for a Philco model 48-230-121. “FLYING WEDGE” Brown and ivory. The underside has some interesting history. There is a label that states Property of Mrs. Jim Gerter Jackson Hotel 998. These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online. It will be protected well and insured. Let me know if you have questions. Vintage TRUETONE AM RADIO d2783 ivory Tube RETRO MCM c1940s bakelite RARE

I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale. I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings. This listing is for a TRUETONE model D2783. Ivory with gold highlights. Condition: BOTH ORIGINAL BAKELITE KNOBS ARE STILL THERE. Both knobs rotate as they should. The cord is in good shape with no cuts or shorts. When powered up it makes the usual hum when one of the tubes needs replaced. The grill is in great shape as seen in pictures. The body is in good shape with only a few small scratches and one scuff on the top. The wood back is still there and in good shape. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES, IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND WAS TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online. It will be protected well and insured. Fantastic Retro Vintage Kriesler 11-71 Ivory & Gold Valve Tube Radio Late 1950′s. Beautifully styled combined with tremendous concentrated power of the mighty Kriesler 11-71A. One of Kriesler’s finest series to have come into the market. The 11 fully sealed series powered through from humble beginnings with the 11-4 Kriesler Fully Sealed Beehive in 1946 all the way into the early 80′s, all of this series was fully sealed for safety and designed to be shockproof and tamperproof housed in fantastic cabinets that had class! The Kriesler 11-71Awas released in 1958 in the fully sealed series offered by Kriesler and took Australia by storm, with its fine detail ivory cabinet contrasted by gold highlights combined with its performance, which is stronger and richer than ever before. This was the deluxe version featuring on/off tone control, volume control, tuning and a pick-up on the back. This radio is in fantastic condition with only a tight 7cm heat mark on the top from the valves which has been stabilised and could not even be shown in the photos it also has had a 1cm hairline fracture repaired behind the “K” badge. Its magnificent Ivory cabinet has been cleaned and meticulously polished back to reveal its exceptional finish and. Is in fantastic condition, it’s original knobs and even its original badges which are in fine order. This is one of the most lovely radios you will ever come across and it has had a reproduction 3 core cloth covered power cord fitted with a sealed plug for safety. Has been restored internally and the chassis appears like its just come from the factory. This radio has been fully serviced and is in great working condition, I was able to tune into all my local stations with ease. All faulty components have been replaced while retaining an original appearance. This radio dominates any room and draws all the attention to it’s gorgeous cabinet. Very hard to find this mid century Deco radio in Ivory plaskon, the radio displays well, made circa 1951 by Westinghouse of Canada. The radio is solid ivory or white plaskon, not painted. The case on this radio has several stresslines as is visible in the pictures. The factory original back cover is present. Original knobs and dial. The radio is tested and does not receive any stations. Should wish to play this, I recommend having it serviced by a qualified technician. The chassis is clean and complete, some tube light up, but no broadcasts received. Offering the second of two bakelite mid century bakelite Airline radios I bought in this recent collection. Another pristine example from 1940, this is a model #04BR-514B. This is one very beautiful restored pre-War Deco Airline. Restored Bakelite case repainted to the original Ivory White color shows its very nice Deco lines. It was manufactured by Belmont Radio for Montgomery Wards. This beautiful radio has original knobs, push buttons, dial, back panel, and dial cover. The dial is very attractive, especially when lit. Five tubes give this beauty great reception and tone using its built in antenna. Back plate is OK. Radio measures approximately 11″W x 7″H x 6D.
