This vintage rare collectable retro, groovy hard to find Music Mobile Volkswagen (VW) Van made in Japan in the 1970s by Tamco. This Musical Toy Soundwagon motorized plastic VW Van is a special Record Player: Its not the record that spins. The self running record player doesnt need turntables but churns out music by driving round the vinyl record album (on flat surface) with a needle that is underneath the car. It uses a 9-volt battery in the back hatch and has a motor for the wheels, along with a movable steering needle to guide it on its way. Also it has an easy on/off switch and speaker on the top of the van. It measures approximately 5 ½ inches long x 2 ¼ inches tall. THIS RECORD PLAYER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION , WITH NO CRACKS , CHIPS , OR BREAKS. I HAVE PUT BATTERIES IN AND THE MOTOR IS WORKING AND SO IS THE NEEDLE WITH AMPLIFIER.
