For sale is a used Vintage Heathkit SB-401 HF Transmitter Ham Radio. Has a switch mod don’t know anything about the mod. No screws or feet for the case. Case in good condition for age. Have plugged the radio in the tubes light up but no power out on CW. The underneath looks like a very nice assembly job. With meter switch on Hv the meter reads 800. Heathkit HW-101 Vintage Tube SSB Ham Radio Transceiver for Parts or Restoration. It has sat untouched in a garage for decades. The good news is that it was in a dry climate, so there is no rust whatsoever, rather, it’s just dusty and dirty. We blew out the inside with an air compressor, and it cleaned up nicely. The exterior looks rather nice! The rubber belts have dried up and cracked off, as you can see in the photos. We have made no attempt to power-on this unit or test in any way. Unless you are capable of working on this unit yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you. Heathkit HG-10B Vintage Tube Ham Radio VFO w/ Manual + Connection Cable. This is a very clean HG-10B, and includes the original manual and cable which connectors to the transmitter. The cabinet looks like it was painted yesterday, and I don’t think the pictures do it justice! The faceplate is in fair condition, and appears to have been facing the sun at some point as there is some discoloration. Our tech tested this unit with a DX-60B transmitter and it ran great! This is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it’s impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
