This lot offers the Hallicrafter’s radio as shown. A portable model, ran on 7 1/2 volt battery or household current. I tried it 3 times. It has a high volume. I switched over to the other bands and did not hear anything, not even static or crackling. I know very little about radios, maybe it involves more then turning the knob to get the other bands, I don’t know. Inside the back I found a paper bag with two tubes that look new. Unit is in good condition! There are no major damages, however does have minor scratches and scuffs. There is some surface rust. For the best indicator of condition, please see photos. Unit was tested and powers on! Speaker works, has static. The band spread knob and dial is not in sync. The other dial is. Adding new, well loved, gently used, vintage and collectible items regularly! Check out my store for more related items! Have a great day!

This powers up, Looks complete. Brought up on a variac and it did seem to work. The wire is crusty. Some of the electronic part/s may continue for another 50 years without need of replacement and some electronic part/s may fail a few days after you start using the item.
