Sylvania 620 Vintage Tube Tester for Guitar or Radio Tubes w/ Manual. This is a neat little tester. The outer case is a little dirty, but the inside of the tester really looks great. The manual is in good condition as well. I had never seen one of these testers before. After reading the manual, I can tell you that this tester is not the easiest to familiarize yourself with. The controls are not intuitive, and it takes some time to learn how to use it. However, we were able to successfully test a 6SN7GT. The needle was steady and reasonably accurate. Having said all that, this unit hadn’t been used in many years and would benefit from a calibration service. Please realize that this is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it’s impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you. Hickok TV-3A/U TV-3 Tube Tester for Vintage HiFi Stereo or Guitar Amp or Radio. This is a genuine Hickok tester, serial number 819. It was owned by a gentleman who tinkered with radio and audio repair, but now needs to thin out his collection. It appears to be all original. We tested a metal 6L6 tube, and found the tester to be relatively accurate with great meter movement. However, we strongly suggest replacing all capacitors and other critical components for optimal performance. This is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. WORKING ANTIQUE 1930′S WEBSTER SOUND EQUIPMENT MODEL SB6 SERIAL # A 8468 6 TUBE AMPLIFIER. HERE WE HAVE A SELDOM SEEN AND HARD TO FIND WEBSTER AMPLIFIER FROM THE 1930′S WITH PUSH PULL 2A3S TUBES. THE CABINET IS NICE WITH A FEW SMALL DROPS OF PAINT ON THE TOP. AT SOME POINT THIS AMPLIFIER WAS INSTALLED IN A VINTAGE PHONOGRAPH SO I WAS ABLE TO TEST IT AND IT PRODUCED A LOUD HUM SO OF COURSE A RECAP IS NEEDED. THE TUBE LINEUP IS 5Z3,56 X 2, 53,2A3′S X2. THE VOLUME AND TONE CONTROL OPERATE AND FUNCTION LIKE THEY SHOULD. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE 3RD POT IS FOR. I ALSO HAVE A ANTIQUE JENSEN SERIES 39 AUDIO PROJECTION COMPANY 12 SPEAKER BEING LISTED.
