This is a lovely Grundig 4070U Vintage Tube Radio that belonged to my late godfather. This has always been kept in the house. I created a quick video so you can listen to how it sounds. You may need to copy and paste it in to a. The FM works well. There are a couple of speckles of what looks like white paint on top that can likely be cleaned off. Ich löse meine Radiosammlung auf. Das Gerät wurde überholt. Alle Kondensatoren, Elkos und Röhren wurden geprüft, defekte Bauteile gegen neue getauscht. Alle Röhren wurden mit einem Röhrenprüfgerät auf Funktionalität überprüft. Die EM 35 wurde durch eine neue russische Röhre und die ECH81, EAF42, ECC81 und die EC92 wurden durch gute gebrauchte deutsche Röhren ersetzt. Der Selengleichrichter wurde durch einen Brückengleichrichter mit Vorwiderstand ersetzt. Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei und spielt sehr gut auf UKW. Das Radio verfügt über 2 große Lautsprecher und hat somit einen harmonischen wohligen Röhrenklang. Das Gehäuse ist aus Edelholz und in dunkelbraun-poliert, vor Jahren wurde das Gehäuse neu lackiert. Der Schallstoff ist sauber. Ein richtiger Hingucker ist das helle magische Auge und das hell beleuchtete Senderskalenglas. Das hier angebotene Radio wurde von Grundig in den Jahren 1953/1954 gefertigt. 4 Wellenbereiche, 4 Lautsprecher und 10 Röhren. Es verfügt über 10 Drucktasten. Das Radio hat für UKW einen Gehäusedipol, für die anderen Bereiche eine Ferritantenne. Das Radio verfügt über eine Wechselstromspeisung, die Einstellung der Spannung ist Stufenweise von 110 bis220 Volt möglich. Die Maße betragen 720 x 462 x 312 mm, das Gewicht liegt bei 21 kg. 92, ECC81, ECH81, ECH81, EM35, EAF42, EABC80, ECC81, EL84, EL84.
